We had a busy weekend!!

Saturday morning we left for Thomson to look at houses. It was snowing on our way out of town! We stayed with Robert's brother and his family. We met with the Realtor on Saturday and thought we had found our home with the first one we looked at. However, sadly it had too much work to put into, so we had to stay at the drawing board until Tuesday. We found a nice brick home on Tuesday, and hopefully it will pass inspection and be our new home. House hunting is hard!!! There are so many things to look at, and check for, and compare. Oddly this house does not have a dishwasher, but everything else has been updated within the past year, such as the roof, a/c and heater. We weighed it with our other options, and it is in the best condition along with the neighborhood being nice.

I got to meet the people Robert will be working with and they are so nice! I'm really excited about our new life in Thomson. Robert was worried about me wanting to live in a smaller town, but somehow it just feels like home.

Clifton has been teething. He has two bottom teeth and the top two look like they will be peaking through any day now. I need to get his picture made again. He is just growing and thriving in his development. He loves to just babble away and blow rasberries. We got so many compliments on him this past weekend about him being a good baby. Lets cross our fingers that it will stay that way!

Good News!

Robert found out that he got the job in Thomson yesterday! We are very excited! Now we have to pack and find a new home for us in just two weeks. We have a very good feeling about this move and can't wait to see what the future holds for us in Thomson! Robert's brother T.G. and his family currently live in Lincolnton, which is a few miles from Thomson. T.G. is a Methodist minister, and will be transfered to another assignment this summer. We look forward to having them close by for a few months. We really feel like it was an answer to prayer for this opportunity to become possible for our family. Above I added some pictures of Robert's brother T.G. and his wife Terri. Thanks to all who prayed about this great oppurtunity becoming possible!!

What's Going On

Currently our family resides in Roswell, Georgia. However this past Monday Robert interviewed for a job in Thomson, Georgia. This would be a good move for us. I'm crossing my fingers that Robert will get offered the position. Now that we have Clifton, we are ready to get established in a safer area. The area of town that Robert works in now is a 35mile drive across the city in a not so safe area of town. We will find out in a week or so if Robert gets the job. I'm hoping for the move, but if it's not meant to be then we will make a Plan B. Goals for right now are to find a church home, get back in shape, and to get out of debt. Robert and I both put on some baby weight. Hopefully this year we can get back on track with eating healthy and exercising. That's all for now!

Okay so I have to admit that our baby is cute!!! I have the best time taking pictures of him. Clifton is constantly changing and growing up right before our eyes.

Christmas morning was very special. We had a big breakfast prepared by my mom and opened up all the presents under the tree. Clifton had a great time playing with all his new toys, but the poor little guy was so worn out after such a busy few days!
